Moorside pupils and staff follow the environmentally friendly 3Rs; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

We try not to waste energy like electricity by turning off lights, keeping doors closed and by wearing warm clothes when it is cold. We try not to waste food or school supplies and we are invovled in lots of recycling projects.

Over a thousand Yellow Pages were collected for recycling last year, batteries and old mobile phones are brought in from home and the paper from the schoolwide recycling baskets goes into to the community paper recycling collector in the car park.

School Council are trying to help the school meet the standards for Eco School status.
