Moorside School is a popular and successful primary school situated south of the City of Lancaster. We cater though for the needs of families and children from all parts of the district.

We are very proud of our children here at Moorside School- proud of the way that they enjoy each others company, how they look after each other, how they enjoy learning and how they grow in confidence to face the changes of their world. The development of the whole person is very important to us. Achieving high academic standards goes hand in hand with learning to live and work together happily and responsibly.

We take care to help boys and girls at Moorside get the best from their primary years and to do so with respect for themselves, their classmates and adults that work alongside them. Our school mission statement is very important to us all.
